1. Rental Duration

Rental rates are calculated on a daily basis, based on a 24-hour rental period, unless otherwise stated in the quotation or rental agreement.

For longer rental periods, customers may contact Lux Line to discuss suitable rental arrangements and rates based on their specific requirements.

2. Reservation and Availability

All equipment is subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

A reservation will only be considered confirmed once the required documentation has been completed and the applicable deposit or payment has been received, as specified by Lux Line.

3. Responsibility for Equipment

Upon delivery of the equipment, the Client assumes responsibility for all rented equipment until the equipment is returned to and accepted by Lux Line staff.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that all equipment remains in good condition throughout the rental period.

4. Care and Handling of Equipment

The Client must handle all equipment with reasonable care and in accordance with its intended use.

The Client must keep all rented equipment in a safe and suitable environment and protect it from adverse weather conditions, moisture, excessive heat, or any other circumstances that may cause damage.

The Client must not modify, misuse, or allow unauthorized persons to use the equipment in a manner that may result in damage.

5. Damaged or Defective Equipment

Any equipment returned with damage, missing parts, or other defects will be inspected and assessed by Lux Line on a case-by-case basis.

Where applicable, the Client may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repair, replacement, or other costs resulting from damage or loss occurring during the rental period.

Normal wear and tear will be assessed separately.

6. Delivery and Collection

Upon delivery, the Client is responsible for checking the equipment, including:

• Equipment type
• Quantity
• General condition
• Quality and completeness

The Client shall inspect the equipment upon delivery and accept the equipment unless any discrepancy, defect, shortage, or damage is reported to Lux Line immediately upon delivery.

Failure to notify Lux Line promptly may be considered acceptance of the delivered equipment in the condition and quantity provided.

7. Agreement Confirmation

The rental agreement becomes definitive and binding between the Client and Lux Line once Lux Line receives the agreement duly dated and signed by the Client.

If the agreement remains unsigned and/or the required deposit remains unpaid after the date specified by Lux Line, Lux Line reserves the right to release the relevant reservation or booking at the end of the business day on that date.

8. Deposit

Where a deposit is required, the applicable deposit amount and payment deadline will be specified in the quotation or rental agreement.

The deposit may be used, where applicable, to cover damage, loss, missing equipment, or other amounts owed by the Client under the rental agreement, subject to the applicable terms.

9. Acceptance of Rental Terms

By signing a rental agreement or confirming a rental with Lux Line, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Rental Terms & Conditions and any additional terms stated in the applicable quotation or agreement.
